It’s More Than A Game!
Since its inception in 2017, the mission of City Sports Academy is to plant seeds for growth, inspire transformation and facilitate development. We are using sport as a vehicle for change while engaging the hearts and minds of young people in our community. It is our goal to provide endless opportunities for positive development and growth.

Sac Panthers Partnership
City of Refuge believes that community building is the biggest part of the equation to restoring a city. That's why since 2019 we have partnered with Sac Panthers Football league to train and mentor young men. Together we have the opportunity to connect with over 200 young men and their families. We have been able to witness young men come to life and unity become a cornerstone where division once took root. We see them on the field fighting for a common purpose and establishing a unique brotherhood. Playing in this league is not just about winning and losing, but about reaching the hearts and minds of young men otherwise unseen.
