GRiT: “the courage, strength of character, and ability to endure through hard circumstances and situations”

GRiT is a six-week mentoring program for boys that offers an opportunity to learn about Significance (“I Matter”), Resilience (“I Will”) and Courage (“I Dare”). Through interactive learning, functional fitness, and an introduction to boxing skills training, the aim is to provide a foundation of self-worth and awareness for boys and young men to possess the GRiT necessary to successfully persevere through life’s challenges. GRiT helps young men to recognize their identity while equipping  them with the necessary tools to make hard decisions that will effect the overall trajectory of their life.
