HauteBird

HauteBird is a new fast-casual concept with pop-ups happening now in the Greater Sacramento area featuring a chicken-centric menu with a global soul food emphasis, built around community, hospitality, and nostalgia. They are re-imagining classic comfort food with a global twist. Enjoy global flavors featured in a variety of proprietary sauces and sides such as fries, salads, veggie options, and other nostalgic sides. Every country has their own version of soul food, and HauteBird plans to share some of that with you, featured on a rotating menu.

Their staff will be hired exclusively from City of Refuge’s various outreach programs, including women in the City of Refuge Housing Program who are rebuilding their lives, as well as young men from other programs. 

HauteBird’s ultimate purpose is to be a community landmark that embraces differences and equality; a place that empowers local young men, women, boys, and girls at risk. A restaurant that brings community together with affordable options, a high standard of food excellence and incredible hospitality where everyone feels welcomed.
